Actionable Levels for Lead Toxicity: Initiating and Managing Lead Chelation
Data from the published medical literature points to blood lead levels below 5 mcg/dL having risks associated with cardiovascular disease endpoints: stroke, acute MI, etc. This talk will discuss those studies and point to the assessment of actionable blood lead levels for clinicians seeing patients who have conditions related to lead exposure.

Dorothy Merritt, MD
Dr. Merritt has been in private practice for 27 years and is BC in Internal Medicine. She received additional training with Walter Crinnion ND in Environmental Medicine starting in 2003. She speaks for ACAM and ICIM as well as does various webinars on Heavy Metals, EDTA, Genomics and related topics. She was a principal investigator in the TACT trial and was named Top Twenty Alternative Medical Doctors in the US by AHIMA in 2014.
